Where do I put the Chlorine Tablets in the Hot tub?

Our Chlorine tablets are slow in dissolving so ideally using our Floating Dispenser is one of the best ways to ensure that you have good flow that allows the tablets to dissolve and also makes sure that the tablets are not in direct contact with the hot tub surface or with you family members or friends.

These smaller chlorine tablets are designed for use with chlorine feeders or with floating dispensers. They will slowly erode over a period of 3-5 days depending on the water flowing over them.

As they release chlorine relatively slowly it may be necessary to shock dose or oxidise prior to their use to first establish some chlorine more rapidly. Ideal Chlorine/ Bromine levels are between pools 1-3 mg/1 (ppm) spas 3-5 mg/1 (ppm) as tested by a test kit or strips.

How do I use the Chlorine Granules in my hot tub?

These rapidly dissolving chlorine granules are an ideal way to daily dose your hot tub and with minimal impact on the PH level of your tub, albeit it may be easier to have the floating dispenser and let it work for you, check regularly to see if its keeping up with your usage, in practice we found the granules a great way of giving your hot tub a boost if the levels have dropped due to the increased use.
