With the cost of living and holiday mania, it is no surprise that more and more UK are being spent at home and benefitting by having that holiday feeling in an all-year-round holiday experience with a hot tub. Hot tubs remain very popular and if you are lucky enough to have one at your home, it is important to understand that as you would do on holiday, you need to take some sensible advice in keeping safe in your hot tub.
- If you have children, secure your hot tub lid with a lock – Even though without a lift cover, it can be quite heavy to lift, but where children are involved, keep the lid secure.
- When the Hot Tub is not being used, keep it covered, this will protect the tub and children that may want to explore.
- When the Hot Tub is open and on, always supervise when children are around.
- Chemicals – Store all chemicals out of reach or in a lockable cabinet.
- Unless you reduce the temperature and accompany them, children under 5 should not use the hot tub.
Hot tubs are safe if the users are sensible, so have a great time and get hot tubbing this Autumn.
